Because of the potential for COVID-19 exposure, we are continuing to evaluate workplace conditions and to determine how we can reduce exposure to COVID-19 hazards. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about this process, please contact the facility Administrator, Director of Nursing or Director of Staff Development.
We continue to implement protocols in accordance with the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and State and Local Authorities, including policies related to disinfection and safety. These protocols are included in our Mitigation Plan. A copy of our Mitigation Plan is available for review in the Administrator’s office and upon request.
COVID-19 testing is provided to you at the workplace at no cost in accordance with State and Local guidelines.
We have the following anti-retaliation and anti-discrimination policies in place: No worker will suffer any form of retaliation or discrimination related to the reporting of COVID-19 symptoms, testing, or infection. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Liszel Justice at lmjustice@marinerhealthcare.com, the Administrator and/or the Director of Nursing.
Finally, as an employee, you may be entitled to several different types of leave or benefits under applicable federal, state or local laws. These include, but are not limited to, Paid Sick Leave, Workers’ Compensation, Family and Medical Leave, California Family Rights Act Leave, California Paid Sick Leave under the Healthy Workplace Health Family Act of 2014, California COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave, other paid benefits as provided for by state and local law.
